Models portfolio shoot: $250 in our studio; $350 for a location shoot (not including the cost of a makeup artist/hair stylist).
This includes 1 sitting with multiple outfits. The shoot will take approximately 2 hours plus makeup time. Makeup (and light hair styling) is $125. We will book the makeup artist for you. The mua will use their own makeup. You don't have to bring yours.
All head shots and
fashion work are done with a professional digital slr camera for the
highest quality images. I shoot with the camera attached (tethered) to a
computer so we can look at the pictures on an lcd monitor as they are shot .
You receive a CD with all of the un-retouched images in both high and low
resolution. Once you select the images you like I will photoshop them to
remove blemishes etc. If Extensive photoshop work is reuquired by you there
will be an additional charge. Extensive means changing the color of a
blouse, etc. One touched-up 8.5x11" (hard copy) print is included with the
cost of the shoot. You can order more touched-up prints or web images at
additional cost ($15/image). You get the advantage of
having low res. images that you can immediately upload to a website with out any
time consuming alteration by you. We use Photo Shop and Nikon Capture and
Lightroom to
optimize the images for the web. We have found that both of those programs
provide excellent quality web images. I will shoot raw files. Once the
shoot is over I will process the raw files into jpg and burn a disk for you.
This step usually takes 1 to 2 days.
Day of the shoot: You will bring about 6 outfits to the location or to my studio. Location shoots are at an outdoor urban or rural setting Click on Shoot preparation for additional information on how to prepare for the shoot.
Comp cards and head sheets
We also provide you with comp cards, we do the layout and have them printed for you This allows us to control the quality of the comp card and the time for production. We can provide as few as 25 cards. This will help you as a "leave behind" when you visit agents, photographers or art directors while looking for work.

Models comp cards 5 1/2x 8 1/2 double sided with photos on both sides and stats.
25 cards = $50
50 cards = $75

There is a $15 charge to touch up each images that you pick for your comp card.
Actors head sheets 8x10 photo with name on one side. You attach your resume on the other side.
25 headshots = $60
