Models portfolio work and actors head shots: $250 in our studio; $350 for a location shoot.
This includes 1 sitting with multiple outfits. The shoot will take approximately 2-3 hours plus makeup time.
This does not include the cost of a makeup artist or hair stylist. You should budget between $100 and 125 depending on which hair and makeup artist is booked.
All head shots and
fashion work is done with a professional digital slr camera (5.6 mega pixel) for
the highest quality images. Since we use digital the turnaround time to see
your pictures is very fast.
You receive a CD with your high
resolution and low resolution images and two touched up 8.5x11" (hard copy) prints. You
can order more prints at additional cost ($15/print). You get the advantage of
having low res. images that you can immediately upload to a website with out any
time consuming alteration by you. We use Photo Shop and Nikon Capture to
optimize the images for the web. We have found that both of those programs
provide excellent quality web images.
Day of the shoot: You will bring at least 6 outfits to the location or to my studio. Location shoots are at an outdoor urban or rural setting Click on Shoot preparation for additional information on how to prepare for the shoot
Comp cards and head sheets
We also make comp cards in house. This allows us to control the quality of the comp card and the time for production. We can provide as few as 25 cards. This will help you as a "leave behind" when you visit agents, photographers or art directors while looking for work.
Rates for comp cards and head sheets:
Models comp cards 5 1/2x 8 1/2 double sided with photos on both sides.
$50 for 25 cards $75 for 50 cards
There is a $15 charge to touch up the images that you pick for your comp card. The $15 for each image on the comp card includes making 8x11enlargements of those images for your portfolio.
Actors head sheets 81/2 x11. photo on one side resume on the other:
$60 for 25 cards $85 for 50 cards
